MEET ME!
Hello! My name is Venus Siao Jiah Ernn, I am a student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies from the School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University. I was from the Diploma in Chinese Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Some modules I had taken include Public Relations, Translation and Chinese Business Communication. These modules require and have trained me to be effectively bilingual in English and Chinese while picking up useful business techniques.

I am tenacious, committed and empathetic. I love inspiring people and aim to make a difference in the community through my translation work. I am an avid fan of Chinese Culture and History, a very important reason why I am pursuing Chinese Studies.
My Interests:
I love baking and making handicrafts, which help me develop patience as it takes a lot of effort and is very demanding in detail. I also love history and culture very much, hence apart from reading up on these topics, I write my own novels and poems as well. They complement my diploma and serve as extra supplements for my academics.
I feel strongly about spreading positivity to the people around me. I always want to help people in anyway I can, and it makes me happy to know I am of help to others. However, I am fierce and strong when it comes to doing serious work, I am a perfectionist and I only go for quality work.
